toying with "Shellac" (made from the
excretions of the Laccifer lacca, and thus,
seemingly as valid as "Silk").

Dan's "Shellac" without reservation)
Just think, if Mark and Dan got into an altercation, and Dan won, we could say, Nacre really got shellacked, didn't he?" and he (Mark) could reply, "Well, I was knackered."
