And\nlooting historical names, as well . . . all in the name of blending\ninto local and adopted cultures, I'm sure.  But still, one envisions\nNatty calling himself Barbarosa, Julius Caesar, or Jenghis Khan when\ntravelling in other lands. <g>\n\n(Hey, didja ever see that Howard Waldrop story titled something like\n\". . . the End of the World,\" mainly about daring experiments\nregarding phlogiston.  Anyway, the cast is full of famous and\nfictional characters, as one often expects in a Waldrop story, and the\nsharpshooter is Leatherstocking himself.)\n\nAll tangential.\n\nHey, I sent Gene Wolfe a copy of \"The City of Lost Children.\"  He\nhasn't had a chance to watch it yet.
