          "text": "Hello everyone. My last post was scattered. The green mankiller is only\nthere when he doesnt look. I wrote most of it as notes while the list was\ndown. A couple of things first:\nPatrick O'Leary (who has a book coming out soon ) said of Ranjit:\n\"Good job man!\"\n\nI say it too.\n\nAnd Marc\n-Recently,\nWolfe recommended \"Report on Probability A\" to me,-\nI've thought of writing Wolfe times, but I imagine he's an intelligent man\nand to be honest I'd really hate to disappoint him in a letter. No doubt\nthat's ridiculous, he's so charitable to his characters, the main ones at\nleast. In my  estimate, they have an awareness of themselves that is\nconventionally assumed to be lacking in most people. When I first read BNS,\nI was 20 and could spare a lot of thought for what was for me a life\nchanging book. I have the same kind of fascination for SS, and often have\nsudden, inspirational looks into the possibilities of the text, I just don't\nknow it well enough yet to cross reference events. I could create a map of\none of the books I suppose, it would probably point out some unseen\nconnections.\nI started one, chapter 22 of igj. The mankiller reference is there, \"The\nBarbican and the bear tower\" . I'll follow with the chapter in RttW where\nhe's on the table lands of green, and see what connections there are if\nany...\n\n\n-----I agree with Nutria that the \"natives'\" approach to the aliens\nrepresents\npagan ritual, but I'd go further.  Ancient mystery cults promised those who\nwere initiated immortality after death---\nI lost the thread here  - what story is this from?"
