You are certainly positive enough about them, but I am not \nbuying any of it at the moment. I definitely find the genetic aspects \nof your \"plant-human hybrids\" to be highly questionable. Of course, \nthat doesn't mean anything in science fiction. In fact, the only \nthing that matters is whether what you express in your theories is \nwhat Wolfe had in mind.\n\nAnd, despite having read through the Short Sun series twice, I have \nno idea what Wolfe had in mind, so I can't criticize you on that \naccount.
