          "text": "No. The sequence itself is rather non-chronological (as I recall), but it\nwas published in the following order:\n\nTHE PASTEL CITY\nA STORM OF WINGS\nIN VIRICONIUM (also known as THE FLOATING GODS)\nVIRICONIUM NIGHTS (short stories)\n\nThe whole series was recently published by Millennium as an omnibus\nVIRICONIUM, iirc.\n\nMy favorites would be the first and third, iirc.  My only \"warning\" would\nbe that the tone or flavor of the world changes from book to book: for\nexample the heroic fantasy of the first is not exactly matched in the later\nbooks, which are more, what . . . artiste cafe embroglios?"
