I'm not sure how to parse the word. "Mali-" can be "evil" or "apple"; "-capata," I don't know . . . looks like past tense? "He took the apple"? "Evil got him"? =mantis=
Capata might be a Wolfean spin on caput rather than on capio, maybe something like "evil/sickness in the head"? I'm not rereading the book, and don't recall where it occurs and in what context. Nutria
