          "text": "I looked for purple eyes.\nThey are very rare!\nYou need two recessive genes to produce them.\nSome people say Liz Taylor had them.\nNowadays on Google you will find many Japanese\nreferences to purple eyes.\n\nI went looking because of Phaedria.\n\nIn chapter 26 of 'Anne of Green Gables' our heroine\nimagines her bosom friend Diane to have Purple Eyes in\nthe story she tells.\n\nAnne breaks her ankles falling off a roof... Phaedria\nbreaks her ankle before climbing the roof... so this\nis all wrong, right?\n\nwell Phaedria and Anne both make a good hash at\npleading with the 'monsters' who guard them.\n\nI cannot look at the picture 'American Gothic' without\nthinking of Matthew and Marilla\n\nFor much of the book I did not realise they were\nbrother and sister, though I had suuspicions... (which\nbook?)\n\nPhaedria and Anne both organise plays in which boys\nhave a limited but highly significant part.\n\nAnne confesses unnecessarily to reading 'Ben Hur' when\nshe should have been reading her lessons.\n\nDavid never got caught out that way when he read\n'Ulysses'\n\nAnne performs to raise money for good causes, Phaedra\nuses the opportunity to steal from the audience.\n\nAnyway Phaedria is a brunette... they are nothing like\neach other.\n\nAnne lives in an ''Eavenly' place... Avonlea... a new\nAvalon(e) and silent 'e''s are important! ask Anne!\n\nI'm sure GW would have told us if he had read such a\ngirlish children's book.\n\n\n=====\n\n\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\t"
