No he turned her into a reed or some\nother hollow plant which Pan found and cut to\ndifferent lengths to make a pipe.... a bit like David.\n\nMusical themes in GW are hidden so obviously that I am\ngrowing numb from kicking myself when I hear a new\ntheme that I recognise.\n\nName any important piece of music known in 1967\n(possibly 1972) and I will find a referent in 5HOC\n\nBetter yet... mention any significant person, event,\nplace or idea and I will tell you where it is found in\nthis book.\nI DO know one of his tricks at least. \n\n\n\t\n\t\n\t\t"
