          "text": "I enjoy cryptic crosswords.\nThe non-cryptic puzzles can often have several\nplausible answers, requiring you to guess a few other\nwords to confirm your suspicions.\nA good cryptic clue is unambiguous in its solution.\nAnd this is how I think GW operates.\nThe usual formula for such a clue points at least two\nways.\nThere is generally a reference to both the meaning and\nthe form of the solution.\nA lupine writer? (5)\n\nIf I find one association between Wolfe and anything\nelse I would regard it as coincidence.\nBut if that association is repeated and reinforced\nenough then I pursue it.\n\nEast by South East, Ann!
