Incus the embryo

Recently looking back through Calde of the Long Sun, I noticed a strong suggestion that Patera Incus is, like Silk and Mucor, the adult outcome of one of those very special embryos. Look at Chapter 6, three or four pages in: Incus describes his parents, their desire for a pious child, his birth long after the other four children in the family... I think Wolfe is hinting fairly openly here. --Nick Gevers.
