          "text": "I rarely post to the list (don't often have anything\ninteresting/intelligent/worthwhile to add!), but have\nbeen reading it for some years. \n\nI'm also from the UK and Wolfe has been my favourite\nauthor since my Dad gave me _The Shadow of the\nTorturer_ to read when I was 13 (I'm now 30). I used\nto read a lot of SF, but not so much these days. Jack\nVance, John Crowley and M John Harrison are other\ngreat SF favourites of mine. \n\nTom"
