          "text": "I'm rerereading *TBotSS*.  On the way to Pajarocu Horn encounters Captain\nStrik's boat.  Strik is from Dorp ('town' in Dutch), the quasi-Dutch\nvillage.  Strik means 'noose,' and his son's name is Toter, 'corpse.'  Is\nthis another reference to the Flying Dutchman?\n\nI've made some headway with the Hindi names.  I don't think I've seen some\nof these on the list yet.  I'm also adding them to the\nWolfeWiki<http://www.wolfewiki.com/pmwiki/pmwiki.php?n=TheBookOfTheShortSun.Names>.\nCan anyone fill in the blanks?\nAlubukhara - plum (lit.
