          "text": "1) I don't believe there has been any satisfactory full explanation of this.\n\n2) When Horn dies in the the pit, his spirit goes to the Outsider. \nHorn's body is possessed by a Neighbor (that greenbuck Horn was chasing \nwhen he fell into the pit) who feels culpable for his death. In \nrecompense, he adopts Horn's identity and mission. Horn's body dies on \nGreen. The Neighbor performs the same trick again by possessing and \nrepairing Silk's dying body. Obviously, not everyone agrees with this. \nMarc has an equally developed theory about what happens in the pit. I \ndon't no of any other strong opinion about what happens when Horn dies \nthe two times.\n\n3) Silk was scanned and has become a Mainframe god. Silver Silk/Silent \nSilk is possessing Pig."

Back when I thought Blue was Urth I thought maybe it\nwas the ruins of the Botanic Gardens and that the island was the\nfloating plantlife that was inside before its destruction.  I remember\non my reread being struck by Horns description of the glass and the\nsimilarities with the gem that housed the claw.  I also thought that\nthe spiderlike figure placing something on Horns forehead was Severian\nresurrecting him with the claw."
