While I'm here, though, could someone clue me in on what pointers 
there are to the identity of Severian's mother and sister?

John Clute wrote an essay, published in _Strokes_, in which he came to some
interesting conclusions to those questions.

Bwah ha ha ha! Yer kidding rite? "casual" references? mentioned "only"
once? That's supposed to mean it isn't important or significant? This is

We only say Jehoshephat because there was someone of that name. How does
Agia know of any theoanthropos?
