          "text": "Did you miss my post \"Who Is He?\"  I discussed this there.  Silkhorn's\nastral self partly resembles Horn on Ocean, but not on the mausoleum trip,\nso the change took place between the two (the hyacinth passage doesn't drive\naway Horn's spirit, it brings Silk to the realization of who he is).  I\ndon't think Silkhorn arranged the disposition of Horn's spirit with Scylla,\nthough: Silk talking with Remora, after Horn's spirit has departed, still\nbelieves he is Horn, and this wouldn't be the case if the disposition of\nHorn's spirit had been something he'd discussed.\n\n--Adam\n\n\n*This is WHORL, for discussion of Gene Wolfe's Book of the Long Sun."
