          "text": "I started rereading \"Exodus..\" last night, and started with the Dramatis\nPersonae.  Sure enough, Teasel's entry says she was attacked by an\ninhumi.  In fact, she's not the only one listed as such there.  I'll\nleave the other as an exercise.  This (for me at least) puts a slightly\naltered spin on Quetzal.\n\nOn the subject of taluses, there is also a remark early in \"Exodus,\"\nwhen Silk first suggests a visit to the factory (to repair Marble's\nhand), that confirms that taluses are a lower order of being, not truly\nas sophisticated as a true chem.\n\nAs I reread, I'm also noticing places where Horn's state of mind or\nopinions are expressed in \"omniscient narrator\" form, and this is before\nthe \"I\" moment.
