Silk reads\na lot of the series plot from a pile of guts at Orpine's funeral.\nSome options that I can come up with for the source of Silk's\nvery accurate divination are: chance (lucky guess by Silk);\ndivine (the Outsider); mechanical (Mainframe beams information\ninto the augurs head); genetic (the animals are genetically\nmanipulated fortune cookies, each with a different message built\ninto them); mystical (the gods have become real greco-pagan style\ngods); psychic (Silk, the former frozen embryo, has precognitive\nabilities); or historical (Horn, or his sources, add in the\ndetails later).   \n\nor\nshort form:\nSilk makes a very accurate divination at Orpine's funeral.
