  Of course Neil (or someone like him) *does* appear in TBotNS in
one of Rudesind's paintings. :-)

Clearly another allusion to the Trinity, with Neil
representing Christ, Ultan as the Father, and Rudesind as
the Holy Spirit. Surprised no one else caught this.
