          "text": "It's occurred to me that, keeping in mind the constant\nemphasis on possession in the Long Sun/Short Sun\nsequence, the identification of certain inhumi with\ncertain humans might be a form of possession: what if\nSinew has possessed Krait, and Pike has possessed\nQuetzal (by blood, but perhaps also by spirit?) In\nthese terms, the ghost of Pike in LAKE would be both\nQuetzal and Pike's authentic spirit...Just a thought."
