It would be a moment\nlike (but almost \ncertainly not identical to) the moment in _Cerberus_\nwhen the shapechanger \nnative takes over the human's diary and records his\ndifficulty with \nhandwrting.\n3) When Horn/Silk warns somebody (Hide?\ndon't remember at the \nmoment) about inhumi, he specifies identifying\nsigns, such as a \ndisinclination to eat normal food, a moment which\nhas all the _ring_ of a \nWolfeian revelation.\n4) Obvious things like his calling Krait and\nJahlee his son and \ndaughter. Obvious counterindications: hair on head.\n5) My reading of the _Short Sun_ is very\nsuperficial, so far; what \ndo _you_ guys think is going on?\n\nBest,\nJohn Clute"
