Gene Wolfe: Nightside the Long Sun

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. I concur with Laurence R. Brothers's favorable report on Gene Wolfe's new
_Nightside the Long Sun_, and congratulate him on his reading speed: 333
pages in 3 hours!  It took me more like 8 hours.

Gene Wolfe followers will probably like this one.  The third-person
narrative is very clean and readable, and Wolfe's impeccably timed
rationing of background information is much in evidence.

Can't wait for the next one.
