_Urth of the New Sun_ query

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Changing the topic somewhat (well, okay, completely):

Reading "Castle of the Otter" for the first time, a few weeks back, I
discovered Mr. Wolfe's unfortunate taste for name puns.  ("Carrol of
another kind", crimony....)  I got to wondering if he buried any name puns
in "New Sun", and then it hit me:

Chapter One of "Shadow of the Torturer" revolves around GRAVE ROBBERS.

Is my sick mind inventing a joke that Wolfe really didn't intend to put in
there?  It's been bothering me for some reason.  And I haven't been helped
by the fact that "Long Sun" features a "Dr. Crane" ....

What do you think?
