This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I'm not sure, but isn't there a section in the third or fourth book
relating a wolf-boy fable clearly drawn from Kiplings' _Jungle Book_? Or
did I dream it? Ah, to have the memory of Severian...
   On a side note, I'm currently reading Clive Barkers' Imajica for the
first time (and enjoying it). The Dominions thus far portrayed seem much
like Urth, and the Autarchs spoken of in both series share a similar
messianic, mystical, distant "weirdness" (as you can see I'm having trouble
nailing down what I mean. Oh well, as Wolfe demonstrates, obscurity can be
compelling.) any opinions?
