This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I think you would know by now whether you like it.

What it has going for it is incredible writing.  I remember giving it to my
father, and he got as far as the opening torture scene.  He told me the
description was too good, and it left him nauseous.  I don't know of any
other book that stopped him in this way.

There are plenty of revelations, and lots of mystery.  Read a third of the
way through Claw, and if you don't like it by then, it probably just isn't
for you.
