Severian's skin color

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Ah, yes.  This brings me to something I had nearly
forgotten.  I'm assuming you're implying that Typhon
is Sev's father (which is not a terribly popular
opinion here since it's generally accepted that Ouen
is sev's pop).  This may be true but it's just as
likely that Piaton is his father since Typhon's head
is grafted onto him at some point.  Ymar is certainly
the son of Typhon or Piaton, and if Sev is not
actually Ymar (meaning he's a clone), he's certainly a
vessel for the first Autarch.  In my mind this
explains the parallels between Sev's and Ymar's lives
and Sev's confused memories.  All my humble opinion,
of course.
