Severian's skin color

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Dear Mr. Doggett,

Actually, what Mr. Lackey said, is that Quetzal
knew -Tussah- and Horn. The statement was:

> You have, genetically speaking,
> Typhon = Tussah = balding Horn.
> And no one noticed. Not Quetzal,
> who knew the latter two.

The "latter two" are Tussah and Horn. The char-
acters that Mr. Lackey mentions as having seen
Typhon are Hammerstone, Marble, and Kypris.
The full posting is in the archive at:

It is, so far, the only post by Mr. Lackey this
month, so you can just search on his name to
find it.

I hope this provides the desired clarification.

Best,

Mark Millman
