This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

 i've only been here a brief time, but i assume from the responses to my
suzanne collage suggestion that some list members are concerned about being
misquoted off the list.  quite so.  i've just had the mildly entertaining
experience of being lampooned by selective quotation, in the sig file of
someone with the opposite caps problem to me.  my response got the
following reply.  anyone here responsible, he asked wearily?

Oh my, yes! I quoted it not ONLY for its pretentiousness, but for its
ability to make my eyeballs vibrate unpredictably. It's just THAT
COOL. Not to mention that it even has the ability to BREED!
