Typo in _Starwater Strains_?

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

On p. 217 of _Starwater Strains_ (U.S. hardbound), in "The Boy Who 
Hooked the Sun", the phrase "pelted him with the shining stones of 
Atlantis" is a recurring motif, except at what would be its third 
occurrence, where it is printed as "pelted him with the shining 
stories of Atlantis".

Given the similar appearance of "stories" and "stones", I think this 
is likely to be a mis-transcription somewhere along the line, not 
some encoding of "the story that is a stone" or "the story among the 
stones" or "third 'stone' from the Sun" or anything.

If anyone reading this has access to the Cheap Street chapbook, could 
you tell us how the word appears in that edition?
