This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Lars and Penates were the generic names of the household gods of
Rome. Those are not proper names. In other words, Latro's god was a
lars, and each family got one.

By the way, Zalmoxis was originally a sorcerer who persuaded Thracians
that he could give them immortality by staging a resurrection. He
built an underground tomb with a lot of food and lived there for a
year.
