This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

People (I won't embarass Bob, Iorwerth, Dan'l, or Matthew by mentioning 
their names),

Please lay off the top-posting; it makes your posts very hard to follow. 
Even if your mail program puts your cursor at the top of the quoted 
material to which you are replying, there is nothing to stop you from 
moving to the bottom before beginning to type in your received wisdom, 
and following the conventional flow of reading down columns of English 
eases the reader's eye.
