This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

H'mmmm.  I'll have to look at this again.  I'm probably just plain=20
wrong here.  But see below:

My point (all together now: "And I do have a point") was,
simply, that those suits _were_ the Queen, Captain, and Wolf,
or, perhaps, their instantiations in this-world. =20

Making that assumption, then, the failure of the bonbon to=20
accomplish its intended task makes sense; the Bad Guys hatch
marvellous plots, but they never seem to work out.  (The
application of this to Wolfe's moral conceptions is left as an=20
exercise for the alert reader.)

Well, it's worth noting that none of Disney's villains ever seem=20
to accomplish much of anything -- as opposed to the aforesaid=20
attorneys...
