Vonnegut (1922-2007)

Spencer Hensley · 13 Apr 2007, 02:49 · from 2007-April.txt.gz

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Brunians, you were pretty curt and rude on the thread I started too.
I guess I can't say whether or not Vonnegut would have gotten along
with you, in particular. But I'm having trouble seeing how ANYone
could stomach your antics.

In any case, your comments neither a) contribute to dialogue about
Veonnegut, nor b)
comment on his death. If you don't like him, that's fine, but at least let
us know why
so that a conversation might evolve from it. Otherwise, why do you think
we want to know what you think?
