Severian Of The Guild (Abandoned): The Book Of The New Sun

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Amazon UK now has some more information on Severian of the Guild, which does
seem to be a reprinting of the New Sun books. Amazon says it comes out
October 18 in the UK and that it runs to 1008 pages. It's a paperback
apparently. They also have the cover art up, though it's far from my
favorite New Sun art. Still, I've wanted a one-volume edition of the BotNS
for a while, so I may have to pick this one up while studying in Ireland
this fall.
