This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Over and over I read articles like this and I feel like the reviewers
aren't reading the same books I'm reading.

It almost makes me doubt my ability to read.  I'm I deluded?  Or is
this guy pretty much completely missing--I won't say "the point"
because I don't think there's a single point to any of Wolfe's
books--missing what's valuable and worthwhile about the books he
mentions?

I wonder how Wolfe feels.
