This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Greetings:

Who did the cover for "Pirate Freedom" (still haven't made it to the bookstore, drat it)?

The reason I ask is because I just picked up a second-hand copy of "Howard Pyle", a "coffee table"
book published in 1975. The style looks a lot like the thumbnails of PF I've seen, so I'm
wondering if that cover artist used Pyle as a inspiration.
