The Tomb of the Unknown Severian

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

That which you say is certainly true, especially if we remember that famous paragraph about the power of symbols and I understand where you?re hinting at. But if we accept that Triskele was brought from the dead than the question becomes mute because Severian by that time had not yet come into possession of the Claw.

He also, if I remember correctly, has no idea that he can bring the dead back to life with the Claw, but still he brings Dorcas. Only later does he connect those two events. Maybe it acted at an uncoscious level in him, but still it doesn?t explain triskele (again, if we accept that it was dead).
