Steampunk books

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. It's basically a sort of homage to Jules Verne, et al in my mind.

Steampunk fiction tends to anachronisms featuring steam power,
clockwork, and other Victorian-era technology (and frequently societal
elements) providing the impetus for machines and devices that are
firmly in the realm of science fiction (giant walking weapons
platforms, for example, as in the anime Steamboy).

That's my quick 2 cent synopsis, anyway ;)
