This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything
here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer
encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the
archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those
repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is
for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site,
so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

That doesn't really have anything to do with my point, which is just that in the combined BOTNS + UOTNS narrative, eidolon- Malrubius and Apheta both lied and/or acted to deceive concering the effects and the purpose of the New Sun. (The deception seems to have been part of a long-running program, because the old Autarch and presumably his predecessors had been deceived also.) I also don't think it has much to do with Roy's point, which concerned the possible discontinuity between BOTNS and UOTNS.
