Black hole vs. wormhole

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. This is Sean Whalen (prion).

Mantis, I don't doubt that if the sun became an accretion disk around
a black hole it would last longer than if a black hole simple appeared
at the center of the sun, or was simply inserted with no effort to
form an accretion disk.  However, Urth's sun is definitely not a disk
circling a black hole, it's still a sphere.
