Sev's Silence about Catherine

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

I'll disagree on the basis of the many micro-connections that would need to 
be carefully mended.  As an analogy, it would be impressive to watch a 
previously dead car brought back to life. But far more amazing to see the 
car's engine violently ripped out by a crane and watch someone instantly 
replace it, with all hoses, wires and supports repaired and 
properly connected.

I agree that there are odd emphases Wolfe makes throughout the story 
which seem to be hints that more than meets the eye is going on in a 
scene. And mentioning the heaviness of the false sword could be an example
of that.  I guess it could lead someone to assume a super-powered Catherine
 but maybe there are other possibilities?
