Black hole vs. wormhole

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Suppose the white hole was the other end of the black hole,
so that they were two ends of a wormhole (which prion is
keen on). Mightn't they just cancel out?

Of course, that makes the creation of the White Fountain in
_Urth_ a bit hard to explain, unaccompanied as it is by a
black hole. Hmmm... maybe a black hole meeting a white hole
is like two bits of pipe between universes meeting and joining
into a longer bit of pipe, which passes by our universe altogether.
A very Spectacled-Bear-like notion.
