What's So Great About Ushas?

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Er... well, I sort of see where you're getting that if I squint, but
there's way, way more gory stuff out there, and I don't think the Hyperion
books can really be classified as horror.

Heart-rending, yes.  The Scholar's Tale gets me every time.

Simmons is a much more straightforward writer than Wolfe, and Hyperion is
more of a traditional space opera.
