Second hand books and Musings

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Ireland's wonderful, but it's hardly the place for lupine reading. Are you
in Dublin by any chance? Shame, if I'd known there were deprived Wolfe
readers in Ireland, I could have bought a book or two on one of my
transatlantic voyages. Alas, my time in Ireland is done now...

P.S. I think some of the later short story collections (Starwater Strains)
used to show up in the Dawson St. bookstores (Hodges-Figgis and
Waterstone's) in Dublin.
