This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Olber's Paradox.  Starlight falls off as the inverse square of distance;
however, if the universe is homogeneous on the large scale, number of stars
increases as the square of the distance, balancing this loss exactly.  The
whole sky should be roughly as bright as the sun. =20

It's not, because

the universe, infinite or otherwise, is expanding

there is an horizon where the speed of recession reaches c.
