This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Just to let you know that WindyCon have accepted a proposal from Michael
Andre-Driussi and I to run a session on "Post-Historic Warfare" in which we
intend to discuss the depiction of conflict in the Urth Cycle. More exciting
than that is that Gene Wolfe himself has very kindly agreed to take part in
this event!

Sorry that I don't yet know the date and time for this session. In fact, all
details are still "to be confirmed", but it would be great if some of you
were to come along and join us. I think it's going to be an interesting
time.
