This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Hey, brunians.  I've got a yes or no question for you.  I think this
will clarify, to me, whether you and I are on the same page with
regard to your point (B) above.

In your opinion, is Plato's Republic intended as an actual proposal
for a political system?
