This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

The sun on the spring equinox moving into Pisces is the more likely origin
of the fish symbol.

The person who came up with the astrological schema that you are
critiquing had one correct idea: mythology is related to astronomy.
Unfortunately, he or she did not bother learning the details of *how*
mythology is related to astronomy.

Astronomy means 'naming the stars'. There was a whole Christian astronomy
developed in the early centuries AD which did not catch on.

"Lo Spaccio della Bestia Trionfante" by Giordano Bruno is an astronomy, in
the course of which Brother Giordano renames all of the constellations (it
is also a very funny book, and one of the most accessible of Bruno's
works).
