The significance of Apu Punchau

This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Wasn't it confirmed by Wolfe that it was an actual moon-landing photograph?

Also, from everything Wolfe said, I think it's pretty much confirmed this is not another universe but our own on a later phase. I agree that it is "unnecessary and unsupported" to think otherwise. Plus that would imply that every time a new universe pops up we get the same planets, same Earth, same continents, same human race, etc. Doesn't make any sense to me.
