This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Variations on the same theme is fine. Exactely the same thing is not, at least for me, especially when Wolfe in his interviews clearly states that he doesn't remember exactely how much time has passed from the Earth we know now. That's as good a confirmation this is the same universe as other.  As a side note, I've been so busy that I can't read everything posted in this list and much of it I have to delete before reading. Feel free to tell me to shut TFU or read everything if I want to comment if you feel I deserve it.
