This is the message as the crawl holds it, before anything here touched it. What the conversation shows has been through ingest: transfer encodings decoded, attachments dropped, quote markers repaired, and the archiver’s ? resolved into quotation marks and dashes. Those repairs are judgements and some of them are wrong, which is what this page is for. Email addresses are obscured here as they are everywhere else on the site, so it is before our repairs rather than byte for byte.

Maybe Cassie is actually every female character in the book.  If we
just looked hard enough we could find evidence.  Maybe she's actually
every character in the book, including the men, the flying-things, and
the voices in the car.  In the original take it was her that was
killed by the islanders.  She's had some success - this time it was
Reis.  but she's going to keep coming back as other characters until
she gets a happy ending.

I mean, our protagonist is a time-traveling, shape-shifting actress.
What timeline could describe her story?  What list of characters could
be accurate?  What assignment of motives could be trusted?

This is Wolfe's masterpiece.  It's a story that cannot be interpreted.
 It's his own _Garden of Forking Paths_.
